Unbox the Gloss: March 2015

I felt like I was waiting FOREVER for the postman to arrive on the morning I received the March box. Glossybox happily inform you the day before that said box is on its way, leaving me in a similar state of excitement that I was in for February's Valentines Special.

It wasn't a collectors box this time round so I got a chance to take a look at the original Glossybox design.

Well this box didn't disappoint. Pastel pink teamed with jet black is the perfect look for spring. Fresh yet stylish, you just can't argue with Glossybox's famous colour combo.

I especially like this box because the toned down design means that it looks good posing silently in any of the rooms in my home!

First up is the Sleek MakeUp Pout Paint at only £4.99 this is a total bargain. It took a few tries to master the right colour combination. You literally only need a few drops of the 'paint' then you can glide it over your lips with a mixture of matt lipstick for the perfect look. The reason being, it can be a little too striking especially if you want to wear this just for the office but it's up to you. However, if you are getting all dolled up for a night out this is just what you need for your finishing touch.

This mascara couldn't have arrived in my glossybox at a better time. I was in dyer need of replacing my old one but with work, taking my brother to his football training and trying to muster some kind of social life, buying mascara got lost somewhere in between. And boy how glad am I that it did! This mascara is AWESOME. Okay so it isn't the Chanel mascara that I intended to buy but my lashes look divine. I have big, blue eyes and this Lash Princess Volume Mascara only enhanced them. At only £3.30 a pop you can't complain, however I will still be treating myself to the Chanel mascara...

I have a minor confession... I haven't actually used these yet and no it wasn't because I freaked out that the products were for 'ageing hair' (like I saw a few of you did on twitter!). It is because I'm heading over to Wales for a few days in July and I thought it made sense to save these cute travel size Dove Advanced Hair Series until then.

So all I know is that they are £5.99 for 250ml and I ain't paying that so these miniature goodies are being used for a special occasion.

I will let you know how youthful my hair appears with an update later in the year!

I am a fussy nail polish buyer. I have recently become obsessed with Urban Decays Nail Varnish Collection after Darren surprised me with a bottle one Christmas (have you seen the little skull on the lid? So rock 'n' roll!). Anyway, this ncLA Nail Lacquer was a cute pink shade and dried super fast. However, with the price tag of £11 a bottle and no super cute lid to show off when displayed on my shelf, Urban Decay it remains.

NAOBAY is hot on trend this season with their commitment to deliver natural and organic emollients in keeping with the standards of certified organic products. I was already sold on this brand with their Body Radiance Lotion but this Moisturizing Peeling only heightened my love.

If you want fresh, soft, clear skin and have an interest in saving the environment (bonus) you have no reason not to try their products.

What are you waiting for? Seriously?

So, what did you think of the March Spring Glossybox? Have you signed up and become one of us glossys yet? Why not recap and take a look back at the Valentines special

    1. Exactly! I usually would have spent a lot more buying different products each month so it made sense to get them delivered in a cute box instead! :)

    1. I would definitely recommend glossybox, though I've just subscribed to 'My Little Box' which might be worth her having a look at too. It has lifestyle gifts and a little magazine plus beauty products too! :)

  7. I love reading about other subscription services because I get the Ipsy Glam bag and so far it's been hit or miss (I loved the bronze eye shadow the first month I got it, but after month 2 of an almost identical color I began to wonder how many I really needed!). Thanks for sharing!
